Persistent settings
There are a number of persistent settings on devices that are not erased in most situations:
- Preserved on reboot
- Preserved on flashing user firmware
- Preserved on updating Device OS
- Preserved on Device Restore USB and device-os-flash-util
These settings include:
- Cellular APN settings (Gen 3 and later, not Gen 2)
- Wi-Fi network credentials, DHCP/Static IP setting, gateway, and DNS setting
- Antenna setting (Wi-Fi and BLE)
- Ethernet detection enabled
- Ethernet pin remapping
- Disable listening mode
- Setup done (Gen 3 only and only in Device OS 3.x and earlier)
- System power manager enabled
- EEPROM contents
- System LED scheme
- System LED pin remapping
- DCT settings
- System features
